Activity and fitness are an important part of a successful weight-loss journey. Rowing, indoors or outdoors, is a perfect total-body, low-impact exercise that one can learn at any age, practice at any intensity, for any length of time. You can take it slow and go at your own pace to work up to a level that will help you maintain the pounds you lose. A matter of life and health, common benefits of activity include reducing the risk of heart disease, type-2 diabetes, some cancers, and building strong bones. Helping to manage and reduce stress, activity is a critical part of long-term weight-loss success through lifestyle change. Marlene's programs combine her allied health education and coaching skills to provide rowing workouts, cross-training options, and guidance to develop new habits, improve your shape, and meet your weight-loss goals.
If you have suffered an injury, illness, or other setback in your training, and are ready to get back into your regular rowing routine, a Roylerow Fitness Program will guide you through the progressive steps of building up your cardio-vascular conditioning, endurance, and strength.
